Advice for managing travel anxiety:
Before your trip, try planning a night out in a bigger city nearby, volunteer, or visit a new restaurant you’ve been wanting to try.
Practice your breathing. Inhale through your nose and exhale smoothly through your mouth. This will keep you grounded.
Come up with motivational statements you can remember when navigating tough travel situations. Such as, “I am capable of navigating tough situations,” “I embrace the excitement of travel and release my stress” or “I look forward to the new experiences each trip brings.”
