About Brett
Growing up immersed in SeaLandAir Travel, which doubled as my daycare, sparked a lifelong passion for the Travel/Hospitality Industry. Even as a child, I would pretend to be a travel agent. This early fascination led me to pursue a degree in Hospitality Management from Ferris State University.
My career in Hotel Management took off in Vail, Colorado, where I moved in my early twenties to embrace the snowboarding lifestyle. Subsequently, I gained valuable experience working in hotels across Detroit, Boston, and Las Vegas. From 2004 to 2012, my wife Jessica and I called Las Vegas home, where I served in VIP services at Mandalay Bay – an experience filled with memorable stories.
In 2012, with a young child, we returned to Paw Paw, and I became a VIP Manager at FireKeepers Casino for several years. Ultimately, my journey led me back to the Travel Agency in 2016, to help take over the family business.
My Philosophy
As the owner of a small agency, my primary goal is to cultivate enduring travel relationships with our clients. We aim to provide a lifetime of travel memories, ensuring that every trip offers exceptional value. Our longevity, sustained by word-of-mouth since 1961, speaks to this commitment.
My Travel Experience
I believe that being a Travel Agent and traveling are inherently linked, and I wholeheartedly embrace the frequent travel that comes with the profession. Throughout my life, I've traveled extensively with friends, family, and on my own. Recent adventures include exploring Italy, Poland, Spain, Hungary, and Turkey. I've also spent over 60 days at sea on various cruise lines and visited more than 50 all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. My travels have taken me across the United States and Canada, and I genuinely believe in finding beauty and enjoyment in every destination.

About Alex
I'm a travel advisor, a lover of the ocean and someone who's always dreaming about the next place to explore. I was raised in Paw Paw and still live here on a little farm outside of town with my husband, two dogs, and a gaggle of crazy chickens. Before I worked in travel, I've spent years working as a server and bartender in a busy, locally loved restaurant, LaCantina. Those years of experience have taught me how to listen closely, multitask under pressure and connect with people from all walks of life. In hospitality you learn to anticipate needs, solve problems quickly and create memorable experiences - all of which are essential in the travel world, too. Travel, food, and drinks have always been my love languages. When I'm not planning trips, you'll find me outside with the animals, lounging at the beach or unwinding with my family and friends.
My Philosophy
I believe travel should reflect who you are. The best trips aren't just about seeing new places - they're about feeling something while you're there! Whether you're after an epic adventure, a slow-paced beach escape or something in between, I love getting to know people, and hearing their stories to craft an experience that's special to them.
My Travel Experience
Over the years, I've been lucky enough to explore a wide range of destinations. I've snorkeled off the coast of Hawaii with sea turtles, hiked through various national parks through the US, I've walked the ancient ruins in Petra, explored the vibrant streets of Istanbul, yachted through the island's of Greece, and soaked in Costa Rican hot springs.
I've experienced the magic of cruising, whether it's waking up in a new port each day or enjoying the food, shows and sunsets from the ship's deck. I also love the ease and indulgence of all-inclusive resorts. There's nothing quite like the turquoise waters of the Caribbean with a tasty beverage in hand.
Each destination has left its mark on me. I travel with curiosity, an open heart, and a love for both the journey and the destination.
